Jason Richardson Foundation

NBA fans are familiar with the virtuosity of Phoenix Sun’s star Jason Richardson. He’s the only player other than Michael Jordan and Nate Robinson to win back-to-back NBA Slam Dunk championships. But many are not familiar with the work Jason does off the court to help youth reach their full potential.

At JRICH23.org, visitors are given a chance to see Jason perform his gravity-defying dunks while finding out more about his charitable work. The idea behind the site is to use Jason’s on-court prowess to help raise awareness and funds for the Jason Richardson Foundation.

Lollipop shot and produced the video in addition to designing and building the site. We used two cameras to film each dunk/trick shot at different speeds, editing the footage together to create a dynamic cut for each shot. We had an incredible time working closely with such a gifted athlete.

The design of the interface was kept very simple to keep the focus on Jason and the incredible dunks.

Many thanks to School Editing for cutting the videos, Crush for post-production and Grayson Matthews for sound design.

Our client on this project was Fidamont.
